the network Voluntours(sm) activities will be planned and orchestrated by San Diego Cares, a non-profit affiliate of the international volunteer planning organization City cares. San Diego Cares will recruit, educate, and coordinate Voluntour activities for a variety of community service projects in the San Diego & Tijuana/Baja region. Voluntours(sm) will also plan and implement strategic partnerships with associations, corporations, and organizations to develop customized Voluntour(sm) packages for convention attendees, incentive, team-building and other business travel to the region. Voluntours(sm) Packages for Individual Travelers, Families & Vacationers to the San Diego/Baja Region will roll-out in Summer 2001.
